Celeste Adriano joined the coaching staff in the fall of 2021 and works primarily in the bullpen with the pitchers and catchers.
A former catcher herself, she competed in 117 games over four seasons for NCAA Division II San Francisco State, once qualifiying for the regional playoffs. In 2018, she had a season-high .356 batting average, hit six doubles and one home run. She reached a .424 slugging percentage mark and recorded 154 putouts, third most on the team, while hitting safely in a career-high 16-straight contests.
During the offseasons, she worked many Nike Camps as a coach and for the Junior Giants, a non-profit of the San Francisco Giants, as a district league manager. A native of Southern California, Adriano was twice honored with All-Olympic League Conference honors for Whittier Christian HS and earned National Scholar Athlete, all-area first team and team MVP honors her senior year.
At San Francisco State, Adriano earned a Business Marketing degree. After graduation, she worked for the Junior Giants and various other administrative positions. She is currently pursuing her MBA online through Western Governors University.
