Archie McEachern joined the staff in the fall of 2020.

McEachern spent 28 years as an executive at Nike where he held several vice presidential roles including opportunities to work and live in Shanghai and Tokyo. He also spent several years working in the basketball division where he ultimately served as the category footwear leader, a role that included working hand-in-hand with several top National Basketball Association players. In addition to his time at Nike, McEachern has kept a strong involvement in the game, coaching AAU and club basketball both in Portland and Tokyo. As of when he joined the staff at Lewis & Clark, he works as a consultant with NBA Life Optimization Coach, Motivational Speaker and Author David Nurse.

McEachern hails from Kittery, Maine and attended prep school at Maine Central Institute where his team won the 1988 New England Prep School Championship. Archie went on to attend Ithaca in Upstate New York and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics. While at Ithaca, he was a four-year member and two-time captain of the varsity basketball team. He became a 1,000-point scorer and set several school records for 3-point shooting.
