- Recorded a tackle in all nine games and multiple tackles four times
- Recorded a season-high four solo tackles and six total tackles and added a season-high 1.5 tackles-for-loss/1.0 sack in a road win over Pacific on October 14
- Added a tackle-for-loss and his first collegiate forced fumble on October 21 at Pacific Lutheran
- Tackled on three tackles (two solo) on November 4 against Puget Sound

- Grew into a bigger role as his freshman year went along and ended the year as a starter at defensive end
- Finished second among all freshmen and linemen with 13 solo tackles and 28 total tackles
- Finished the season second in tackles for loss, third in sacks and tied for first in QB hits (five)
- Made his collegiate debut on September 17 at Whittier College with a solo tackle
- Posted six tackles (three solo) with three tackles for loss and two sacks on Homecoming against Willamette University
- Registered a career-high seven tackles (three solo) against Pacific University on October 29
- Notched 1.5 tackles for loss and six total tackles at George Fox University on November 5
