2024 (Sophomore Year): Named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as a sophomore ... Earned a spot on the Northwest Conference Scholar-Athlete Team ... Appeared in nine games during his second season ... Began the season as the starting left guard but shifted over to center and started the majority of the games in the center of the Pioneers line ... Helped Lewis & Clark score 50 or more points in three contests ... Part of a Pioneers offensive unit that led the Northwest Conference in yards per game (445.9) and finished second in points per game (33.8).  

2023 (Freshman Year): Appeared in seven games during his freshman campaign … Saw action in all seven NWC contests and earned starts at both left and right guard … Helped Lewis & Clark set a program record by scoring 50 or more points in three games during a single-season … Part of a Pioneers offensive unit that finished third in the conference in points per game (35.4) and second in yards per game (445.1).

Prior to Lewis & Clark: Full name is Ignacio Marquez ... Attended Saint Mary's Catholic High School … Named the Southwest Region Player of the Year by ArizonaVarsity.com … Earned First Team All-State Honors … Recognized on the All-Region three times as an offensive lineman … Selected to the All-Region Team one time as a defensive lineman and also earned Second Team All-Conference honors on the defensive side … Helped Saint Mary's average 233 rushing yards per game as a senior.
