Eric Steneroden enters his first season in 2024 with the Pios, primarily working with Coach McCormick and the pitching staff.

In his first season with the program, he worked with three pitchers who earned All-Conference honors (Anthony Clerici, Owen Eisen and Brett Pierson) and helped guide a young pitching staff that included two freshman starters and seven underclassmen. 

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Eric took a gap year after high school to train at Driveline Baseball in Kent, Washington. Eric pitched at Lane Community College before transferring to Oregon State University, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, while beginning his career in player development with the DAM Analytics Squad.

In addition to coaching the Pios, Eric currently works at a youth homeless shelter in Hillsboro. When back home in Colorado, he coaches at Rogue Baseball Performance, where he has worked with numerous teams and athletes ranging from high school to professional level. Eric is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling on his way to a career in sports psychology.
