Ā
The Loggers opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark, when Zoe Witter made it 1-0 at 29:59.Ā
Ā
Puget Sound doubled their lead at 38:28. Leila Hausia-Haugen scored her second goal of the season to make it two Loggers goals in an 8:29 span.
Ā
The hosts came out with a quick flurry of shots on the Pioneers goal. Ingadottir made three of her five saves in the opening 12:31 with saves on shots from Kate Short, Anne Linggi and Hausia-Haugen.Ā
Ā
After a slew of substitutions, Puget Sound opened the scoring at 29:59. The Loggers won the ball off a Lewis & Clark throw-in along the near sideline and quickly switched the field. Witter received the ball along the far side 35-yards out and drove towards the box, before firing a low right-footed shot that just bounced past a diving Ingadottir.Ā
Ā
Lewis & Clark posted their only shot of the contest at 33:33. Sophomore Ava Lazzara sent a long clearance up field and junior Mischa Vanek won the ball off a Loggers defender. Senior Kate Meinhard left the ball off for Driskill who sent a high, floating shot that Puget Sound goalie Gianna Maldonado was able to pounce on.Ā
Ā
Puget Sound made it 2-0 with less than seven minutes to play before halftime. Haugia-Hausen received a through ball in the center of the field. She ran past her defender and blasted a left-footed shot just inside the post from 20-yards out.Ā
