HOW IT HAPPENED

The hosts scored two goals within three minutes of each other midway through the second half to take control of the game. Lewis & Clark also went down to 10 men before the second goal, as the Pioneers had a player sent off for a foul in the box.

Junior goalie Micaiah Garan made seven saves on 11 shots in the contest. It marks the third-straight contest and eighth game this year he has posted six or more saves.

Seniors Aashir Walson and Ben Schwartz, junior Emmett Olson and sophomore Sam Gunderson all tied for the team lead with one shot on goal.

Pacific opened the scoring in the 27th minute when Carter Zeiset scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season.

The Boxers doubled their advantage at 65:09 when Cole Affolter sent a pass across goal for Tyler Scott's first goal of the season.

The hosts put the game away less than three minutes later. The referee blew his whistle for a foul in the box and after a long delay, drew out his red card against the Pioneers defender. Nico Lomanto stepped to the penalty spot and sent a low shot to the left-side of the goal to make it 3-0.

Pacific would add one final tally in the 87th minute, when a Boxers cross was deflected in off a Pioneer.
