The Pioneers defense held an opponent to one goal for the first time all season but Pacific's defense held strong as well, to secure the win on the Boxers Senior Day.Ā

Micaiah Garan made three saves on four shots. He posted two of his three stops in the first half.Ā

Sam London recorded Lewis & Clark's lone shot/shot on target in the contest.Ā

Neither team was able to create much to begin the game, with the first shot on goal coming in the 20
thĀ minute. London and Pacific's Adam Landy traded shots on goal in the 27
thĀ minute and Pacific broke the deadlock less than five minutes later.Ā

Junior Camden Wyatt scored the lone goal of the contest at 29:24. The Boxers used a corner kick to take the lead as Wyatt scored off assists from Noah Gosch and Evan Blyer.Ā

The two teams would engage in a defensive battle for the rest of the way. Gosch recorded the only shot on goal in the final 60 minutes at 77:49.Ā

- Pacific finished the game with a 12-1 shot advantage and 4-1 lead in shots on goal.Ā
- Sophomores Dylan Weinstein, Simon McGlothern and Garan all played the full 90 minutes.Ā
- Lewis & Clark has held an opponent to exactly one game twice in the past two seasons. The first time also happened against Pacific on October 14, 2023.Ā
- After giving up over four goals per game (4.06) in their first season in the NWC, Lewis & Clark allowed 10 fewer goals this season and posted a 3.44 goals against average.Ā
- Weinstein led Lewis & Clark in minutes with 1,320. He finished second on the team as a first year and has racked up over 2,800 minutes in his first two seasons.Ā
- Garan finished the year with a single-season program record 69 saves. He led Lewis & Clark in every major goalie category as a sophomore.Ā
- The contest marked the final game of senior Ben Tallent's career. Tallent finished his career with 1,489 minutes played.Ā
