HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior
Charlotte Carroll recorded her sixth double-double of the season and eighth of her career with 21 points and a career-high 18 rebounds. She recorded her double-double before halftime. Carroll scored 18 of the Pioneers' 33 points in the first half and grabbed 14 of their 16 rebounds. In the first two quarters, Carroll shot 77.7% (7-9) from the field and 80% (4-5) from the charity stripe. She finished 8-12 for 66.6% for the game from field goal range.
The Pioneers were down by 16 points in the first quarter before cutting the lead to 29-20 after the first ten minutes. Puget Sound continue to extend their lead, holding a 52-33 advantage at the half and 81-42 after three.
Freshman
Tatiana Rebanal notched a career-high 15 points and tied her career-high with three made baskets from long range.
BY THE NUMBERS
- This is Carroll's second 20+ point career game.
- Junior Karli Mukai scored six points with two assists.
- Senior Gabby Beltran pulled down seven boards with five points and three assists.
- All seven Pioneers scored against the Loggers.
- The 101 points scored by the Loggers were the most by an opponent this season and the most points the Pioneers have given up since a 108-34 loss to Walla Walla University on November 25, 2016.
