HOW IT HAPPENED

The visitors scored three goals in each half and earned a wide shot margin on a rainy, cool evening at Griswold Stadium.

Cloutier earned his second regular-season start of the season and made four saves on seven shots before having to come off with an injury in the 48th minute. Tallent replaced him and stopped six of the nine shots he faced.

Freshmen Aashir Walson registered a team-high two shots and the team's lone shot on target as he played as the Pioneers lone center forward for most of the second half.

Andrés Soto Hernández, Wesley Esparza Salazar and Akshay Bhatia each added a shot apiece for the hosts.

Freshman back Conor Esler came away with a key goal line clearance for a defensive team save for the Pioneers.

George Fox's Kyle Revell led the Bruins with a pair of goals off the bench in the contest.

The visitors blew the game open with three goals in a 7:55 span of the first half. Jeff Friedman opened the scoring at 19:26. Eugene Peltier added his team-leading sixth goal of the season at 22:55 and Revell scored from the penalty spot at 27:21.

The Bruins tacked on a fourth goal just over five minutes into the second half when Revell added his second of the day.

George Fox added two late goals against their future conference foes. Josiah Adams scored with 2:27 to play and the Bruins took advantage of a late corner to score with two seconds left in the contest.
