Freshman Micaiah Garan recorded his first career shutout last Wednesday at George Fox and helped men’s soccer earn their first result since the program returned to varsity status. Garan recorded six saves in his fourth start in net for the Pioneers. He faced a total of 13 shots from the Bruins. It was the first shutout for the program in over 33 years and the first result since 1991. Garan earned the start on Sunday against NWC champion Pacific Lutheran and recorded an additional six saves on 21 shots faced.
