Spicer put together a huge weekend in Las Vegas at the UNLV Invitational. He was a part of five top-10 all-time performances in program history across the three-day meet. On Saturday, Spicer shaved 14 seconds off his time in the 500 Yard Free to move into 9th place all-time in the event (4:53.37). He jumped into 6th place all-time in the 100 Yard Butterfly on Sunday, when he improved his time by almost two seconds over his two races (52.65). He finished off the week individually, when he moved up from eight place to sixth in the 200 Yard Butterfly on Monday, with a time of 1:58.61. Spicer was also a part of two relay teams on Saturday that posted top-10 marks. In the 200 Yard Free Relay, Spicer teamed up with Zach Martin, Micah Rysavy and Eric Norman to register the 10th-fastest time in program history (1:28.76). Later that evening, Isaac Anderson, Norman, Spicer and Martin posted the eight-fastest time with a mark of 3:37.96. Â
