Bray joined the Pioneers as an assistant coach in 2010 after a 2year playing career with Lewis & Clark. He serves as theinfield coach, full time recruiter, third base coach and assistanthitting coach. Bray is also an assistant coach and recruiter forthe Women's Basketball team at Lewis & Clark.
Before becoming a coach for the Pioneers, Bray was a two-yearletter winner for the Lewis & Clark baseball program, drivingin 40 career RBIs and hitting 10 home runs. He started 57 games forthe Pios, playing mainly as the team’s starting third andfirst baseman while filling in at short stop and secondbase.
Prior to joining the Pioneers, Bray spent two seasons playingwood bat baseball at Clackamas Community College. Bray split timeat the infield positions before finding a home at First Base hissecond year in the program. In his sophomore year,Bray was named Second-Team NWAACC All-South Region firstbaseman, while hitting .280 and not recording an error in the fieldthat year. He was also recognized for his academics, beingnamed to the NWAAC All- Academic team while graduating with anAssociate of Arts Degree. In high school, he was a three timeAll-League player at both Madison High School (Portland, Ore.) andGresham High School (Gresham, Ore.), while playing all of theinfield positions.
In addition to his coaching at Lewis & Clark college, Brayhas coached summer baseball for the Lake Oswego Junior BaseballOrganization since 2011. He runs the LOJBO hitting league in thewinter months, helps run the NW Baseball Convention with NW StarBaseball Academy, while also working as an instructor for DemariniTop 96. As a student, Bray was an intern in the AthleticsDepartment as an assistant to the Sports Information Director. Healso worked for the Lewis &Clark Facilities Manager as the head assistant. Bray graduatedfrom Lewis & Clark with a degree in Economics in 2010.
