Megan Sawyer returns to her alma mater and the women’s soccer program as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024 season. 
 
Sawyer, who graduated from Lewis & Clark in 2020, was one of the Pioneers top two goalies in all three of her seasons. She appeared in 33 contests and made 28 starts during her career. Sawyer racked up 126 saves with a 1.71 goals against average and a 72.8 percent save percentage. She enjoyed the best year of her career in 2018, when she started 13 of 20 games and recorded a career-best 75.9 save percentage. 

In her first season as an assistant coach, she worked with junior keepers Anna Ingadottir and Delaney Jones. The duo combined to post five shutouts and 1.75 goals against average. Both keepers finished the season with over a 65.0 save percentage. 
 
Since graduating with a degree in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric, Communications, and Literary Analysis, Sawyer has been working towards her JD at the University of Oregon Law School.
