Jeremy Loew was named the Head Athletic Trainer in Aug. 2020. He joined the Lewis & Clark athletic training staff in 2003 as an assistant trainer and instructor, named Interm Head Athletic Trainer in May 2013, before a promotion to Associate Head Athletic Trainer in May 2014.
Before joining the Pioneers staff, Loew worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Concordia in Portland from 2002-05, providing coverage for men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball. He also provided support for the OHSU/Clackamas County Fire Department from 2003-05 to conduct injury assessments and provide rehabilitation programs for on-duty and light duty fire fighters.
Loew worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Western Oregon university from 2000-02 and was the head athletic trainer for Lake Oswego HS in 2000.
Loew is a 1995 graduate of Lewis & Clark with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Following graduation, he joined the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics organizations as a minor league athletic trainer. He later earned his Master of Science in Human Performance with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Oregon State in 2003.Â
He is married to fellow Lewis & Clark alumnus Holly, a 1998 gradaute of the volleyball program, and has three children: Nate, Cooper and Eli. Loew enjoys golf, fishing and coaching Little League baseball.
