Asha Jordan

Asha Jordan was named the Lewis & Clark head women's basketball coach in August of 2014.

Jordan came to Lewis & Clark with an impressive resume that includes the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, Pepperdine University, and, most recently, Occidental College. While at Occidental, Jordan assisted in all facets of the program and excelled at promoting the Division III experience.

Prior to joining Occidental, Jordan served as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations at Pepperdine. In that role, she oversaw the support staff, collaborated with the coaching staff on offensive, defensive and player development, and assisted in the management of the program's operating budget.

Jordan began her coaching career as an assistant at Anderson University in South Carolina. Following her time at Anderson, Jordan served as a special projects intern for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). She then became a volunteer assistant for Winthrop University, where she aided in scouting, film breakdown, play diagramming, recruiting, and team travel coordination.

As a player, Jordan began her career at Albany University and the University of Southern Indiana before she transferred to Occidental College. While at Occidental, Jordan was a two-year captain and led the Tigers to two SCIAC titles and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009.

Jordan graduated from Occidental with a degree in economics and earned a masters degree in youth development leadership from Clemson University in 2011.
