- Broke 15 minutes in the 5K at the Northwest Conference Championship Meet to finish in eighth place and earn a point for his team
- Closed out his freshman year by running the 1,500M (4:04.56) at the Portland Twilight Meet on May 4

Prior to Lewis & Clark: Attended Heritage High School … Earned the Distinguished Athlete Award for cross country … Named to the All-League Honorable Mention Team … Recognized on the Academic All-State First Team … Served as the team captain … Member of the National Honor Society … Earned High Honors for academics and the Outstanding Senior Award.
Why Lewis & Clark?: I really liked the 3-1 and the 3-3 law programs the school offered, I enjoyed visiting the school, and I enjoyed meeting with the cross country team and coach. It felt like the best fit for my academic career and on top of that I get the opportunity to continue my running career.
