2023-24 Indoor Season Best Marks
 
3,000M: 8:55.27 – Whitworth Indoor Invitational, February 10 – 5th in program history

NOTABLES 

  • Closed out his career as a Pioneer with his most successful track & field season since his freshman campaign 
  • Ran a career-best time in the Indoor 3,000M at the Whitworth Indoor Invitational on February 10
  • Finished second in the 5,000M (15:32.25) on March 16 at the L&C Electric Forest Collegiate Open
  • Broke four-minutes in the 1,500M for the first time in nearly three years when he finished the race in 3:56.92 at the L&C Larry Byerly Invite on April 13 
  • Placed fifth in the 1,500M and 10th in the 5K (career-best time) at the Northwest Conference Championship Meet and scored points in the 5K 
  • Wrapped up his career in Orange and Black on May 11 when he completed the 1,500M in 4:04.33
  • Plans to compete at Division III North Central College in Illinois as a graduate student

NOTABLES 
  • Made his collegiate debut on March 13 at the Rich Allen Classic 
  • Became the first student-athlete in program history to win a United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Regional Athlete of the Year Award 
  • Broke the 1,500M record that had stood for 55 years three different times, including posting the third-fastest time in the nation (fastest by a freshman) going into Nationals at the George Fox Final Qualifier (3:48.93) 
  • Won the NWC Championship in the 1,500M and helped the 4x400M relay team become finish fourth
