Deriontae Green returned to Lewis & Clark in the fall of 2023 and joined the Pioneers track & field coaching staff ahead of the indoor track & field season. 
 
During his time as an undergraduate, Green competed on the L&C football and track & field teams. He still ranks in the top-six in program history in two indoor events (60M and 200M) and was a member of the 4x100 Relay Team in 2018 that ran the second-fastest time in program history (42.25). He graduated in 2021 with a degree in Psychology. 
 
After working as a courtroom clerk at the Las Vegas Regional Justice Center in his hometown, Green returned to Lewis & Clark to pursue his goal of working in higher education. 
 
He is currently enrolled in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Program at the Lewis & Clark College Grad School. Green serves as a Graduate Assistant to the College Advising Center (CAC), Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement (IME), and Student Engagement (SE). His focus is to help elevate student academic success, and personal success with an emphasis on student-athletes. In service to Lewis & Clark, Deriontae serves on the Fowler Advisory Board, the Black History Month Committee, and the MLK Committee.
