Jon Westlake returns to his alma mater as an assistant coach in the Fall of 2025.
Westlake played for three seasons on the men's team and served as a team captain during his senior season (2024-25). The Portland, Oregon native improved with every season and finished his senior season with a career-best 77.58 (+6) average. He notched a career-low round of 69 (-2) on Day Two of the George Fox Invitational (March 2025) to help lead the Pioneers to their first (confirmed) tournament victory since 1972. Westlake led the men's program to their best finish in the NWC Standings since 2017 when they placed sixth out of nine teams for the 2024-25 school year.
Westlake was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on two occasions and a Northwest Conference First Team Scholar-Athlete Team as a senior. He earned the Lewis & Clark Dell-Smith Scholar Athlete of the Year (Male Scholar-Athlete) – Silver Medal as a senior and the Dan Jones Multi-Sport Athlete of the Year in 2024. In two seasons competing on the swim team, he earned All-Conference honors in the 100 Breaststroke (2023) and helped set the program record in the 200 Yard Medley Relay.
