  • Put together a fantastic sophomore campaign as the team’s top runner 
  • Placed first on the team in all eight competitions he raced in 
  • Finished in the top-four in five of his eight races and the top-16 seven times 
  • Earned his first career trip to D3 Nationals and placed 138th overall with a time of 25:25.3
  • Won the first two cross country races of his collegiate career as a sophomore
  • Named the Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week four times 
  • Earned his first career cross country victory on September 13, when he ran a career-best 6K time of 18:01.9 to finish first out of 73 runners
  • Placed 16th at the D3 Pre-Nationals Meet with a time of 24:57.5 
  • Won the L&C Invite with a time of 24:51.9 to finish first out of 103 runners at the Pioneers home meet
  • Earned First Team All-Conference honors for a second-straight season by placing fourth at the NWC Championship Meet
  • Punched a ticket to Nationals for the first time in his career by placing 10th overall with a season-best time of 24:28.6

  • Put together one of the best seasons in program history in his first year 
  • Finished first one the team in all six of the team’s meets 
  • Posted five top-20 finishes and placed inside the top-six in three races 
  • Won the Northwest Conference Men’s Runner of the Week after all four of his regular-season races 
  • Made his collegiate debut on September 8 when he finished sixth overall at the Ash Creek Collegiate Invite (6K) with a time of 18:03.1
  • Ran the seventh-fastest time in program history over 8K in his first collegiate 8K race when he finished the Dellinger Invitational in 24:40.2 
  • Set the program record for an 8K race on October 14 with a record-setting time of 24:08.4 at the George Oja Linfield Invitational 
  • Placed third overall (24:46.6) at the Northwest Conference Championship Meet to earn First Team All-Conference honors 
  • Earned All-Region accolades at the NCAA DIII West Regional Championship Meet with a 19th-place finish (25:07.1) 
  • Finished one spot away (four places) from qualifying for an individual bid to the NCAA DIII National Championship Meet  
At Lewis & Clark: Minoring in Earth Systems Science ... Member of the track & field team.

Prior to Lewis & Clark: Attended Mountain View High School … Named the Male Athlete of the Year for his high school as a senior … Earned the Track & Field MVP award as a junior and senior and the Cross Country MVP as a senior … Won the Coaches Award for cross country as a junior … Both his mother and father ran cross country and track & field at Trinity College. 

Why Lewis & Clark?: I chose Lewis & Clark because I felt comfortable when I visited campus. It felt like the perfect distance from home and had the kind of academic and athletic environment I was looking for.
