Enhancing access and excellence
Pioneer Student-Life internship within the athletic department
help ensure that creative and inquiring minds are able to come to
and graduate from Lewis & Clark.
Students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the
following areas now have the opportunity to apply and receive aid
in the form of housing on campus each semester through the Pioneer
Student-Life internship in athletics.
- Sports Medicine
- Sports Information/Broadcast
- Sports Administration
- Athletic Development/ Fundraising
Annual Internships provide support on a
semester basis to students from a variety of backgrounds. Your
generosity ensures that deserving students receive these excellent
opportunities each semester.
With a contribution of $2,500 per year, donors can support a
deserving student who has interest in pursuing a career in sports
with hands-on experience through semester-long internship within
the Athletics Department at Lewis & Clark.
Endowed Internships provide a steady and
reliable stream of support. These funds generally grow over time,
generating income for all of our Pioneer Student-Life internship in
athletics. When you give to an endowed internship, you are making a
personal and immediate impact on the lives of our students.
The minimum amount required to endow a internship is $50,000,
payable over a five year period.
Thanks to a flexible endowment
plan, donors are able to make their five-year pledge
of $50,000 to permanently endow a Pioneer Student-Life internship
in athletics while helping a deserving student today.
Until the endowment is fully funded donors are able to make an
additional $2,500 annual gift, which benefits a current student
today. In five years, the endowment alone will fund their $2,500
Pioneer Student-Life internship in athletics permanently.
