Joey Lyon added a 6-4 win at second doubles, as they dispatched Cameron Paulsen and Abhi Acharya.Â

In the third doubles match, senior
Matt Chio and
Spencer Loucks notched a 6-3 win over Alexander Rosenquist and Matous Young.Â

The Pioneers made it 3-0 to start singles play with wins at first and second singles.Â

Lyon defeated Rosenquist 6-4, 6-2 at second singles to make it 2-0.Â

Sutin delivered a 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 win over Lerfald at number one singles to give Lewis & Clark a commanding 3-0 win.Â

McDermott clinched the match victory at fourth singles. The junior defeated Stone 7-5, 6-4 to make it 4-0.Â

In the closest match of the day, Chio came up with a huge rally to earn the win over Paulsen at third singles. Paulsen had Chio on the ropes, as the Wildcats player led 6-4, 5-1 in the second set. Chio managed to force a tiebreak and won the second set 7-6 (7-0). The third set would also go to a tiebreaker and Chio would come away with a 4-6, 7-6 (7-0), 7-6 (7-0) win in which he managed to erase five match points.Â

Wills pushed Lewis & Clark's advantage to 6-0 as he knocked off Acharya 6-3, 6-4 at fifth singles.Â

In the final match of the day, first year
Arnav Bishnoi defeated Young 6-1, 6-4.Â

- During their six-match winning streak, Lewis & Clark has now posted five 7-0 score lines. The Pioneers have won all nine matches in all five of those contests.Â
- Chio and Bishnoi each posted their fifth-straight singles wins.Â
- Lewis & Clark is now 22-2 in singles play in four conference matches and 11-1 in doubles action.Â
- Saturday's win was the Pioneers 20th-consecutive victory over Linfield. Lewis & Clark has not lost to Linfield since the 2011-12 season.Â
