Sophomore TJ Muhammad saw his first action of the season in the NWC openers for men’s basketball and averaged 14.5 points while shooting 71.4% (10-for-14) from the field, 75% (6-8) from the charity stripe and was a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Muhammad entered Friday’s contest against George Fox at 1:13 before halftime and made an immediate impact as he drove the paint and made his layup. He then pulled the Pios with 47-28 when he stole the ball from the bruins and hit a jumper as time expired. Muhammad finished the game against George Fox with 16 points and finished with a team best +20 in his 14:17 of action. 

Muhammad saw 12 minutes of action on Saturday against Linfield and dropped 13 points on the Wildcats while going 4-for-6 from the field and 4-for-5 from the free throw line.
