Zach Martin earned two individual wins, a relay win, and second and third place individual finishes. On Friday, racing against a pair of Whitworth swimmers, Martin took first in the 100 Yard Free with a time of 49.44. He then placed third out of four competitors in the 50 Yard Free with a time of 22.47. In a two-team 200-yard Free Relay, Martin, Eric Norman, Micah Rysavy, and Michael Spicer finished just 1.11 seconds behind Whitworth with a time of 1:30.31. Martin claimed his second win of the weekend against Whitman with a victory in the 100 Yard Free. He beat out five swimmers when he finished in 48.23. Martin took home a second-place showing in the 200 Yard Free. The Pioneers 400 Yard Free Relay team of Norman, Martin, Rysavy, and Spicer posted the team's fastest time of the season to defeat a pair of Whitman relay teams. Lewis & Clark's foursome won by over 10 seconds. The Pioneers' time of 3:17.71 in the 400 Yard Free Relay was .11 seconds faster than their time at the UNLV Invitational. It stands just over 2.5 seconds outside the 10th-fastest time in program history.
