Sophomore Max Aldrich punched his ticket to his first career Nationals race after finishing 12th overall at Saturday's NCAA Division III Regional Championship Meet Spokane Valley, Washington. He posted the fastest Regional Championship time in program history (24:50.60). He steadily improved his place in the race from 18th to 12th over the final 7K. Aldrich owns the program record for the fastest 8K time in program history. He finished the NWC Championship Meet course in a record 24:16.2. He is the third-straight male Pioneer runner to hit the course at Nationals. This is only the second time in program history that a runner from the men's and women's teams will be racing at the NCAA Division III Championship Meet.
