Sophomore Owen Eisen struck out a career-high nine batters and allowed just one run over seven innings to lead Lewis & Clark to an 8-2 win over George Fox on Sunday. Eisen’s nine strikeouts were the most by a Pioneer since Brett Pierson fanned 13 against Vassar on March 15, 2023, and helped Lewis & Clark secure its first Northwest Conference series sweep since April 2023. The sophomore right-hander has been dominant in his last three starts, going 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA over 18 innings.
