Riley Buese shaved off 15 seconds from her personal best mark to post the sixth-fastest time in program history. Her time of 21:49.4 at the L&C Invite was good enough for fifth-place and second amongst all Division III runners. In her first two 6k races of the season, Buese has improved her ranking in the record book, moving from 12th overall to sixth. She is just 15.2 seconds away from fifth place, held by 2022 Hall of Fame inductee Tamma Carleton.
