Keeper Delaney Jones made a career-high 11 saves against Whitworth on Saturday, which included three crucial stops in the first nine minutes, and kept the Pioneers competitive throughout the 90-minute contest. The 11-save feat matches the program's recent high, last achieved by Sophia Young at Whitworth on Sept. 18, 2022. Jones' performance was part of a 12-save team effort, a benchmark the Pioneers hadn't reached since Nov. 5, 2017, against Pacific Lutheran University. The junior added five first-half saves against Whitman on Sunday. Jones leads the Northwest Conference with 6.13 saves per match and is tied for the lead with 49 total saves.
