Charlize Pope led softball to two of their three victories on the week and posted a 2.18 ERA over 19.2 innings pitched. She threw two complete games, went 6.2 innings in the other contest, and struck out 12 batters while walking just three. She threw her first seven-inning complete game on Saturday in a 5-1 win over Schreiner University. The sophomore allowed just four hits, no walks and one run, while striking out four. She returned on Sunday and limited Trinity University to five hits and two earned runs over 6.2 innings to earn her second win in less than 24 hours.
