Junior Sam Henderson scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed a career-best nine rebounds on Friday night at Pacific in men’s basketball’s penultimate game of the season. He shot 69.2% (9-13) and 4-5 (80%) from the free throw line, leading the Pioneers in scoring against the Boxers. Henderson’s 24-point performance is tied for the 12th-highest points scored by an individual in a Northwest Conference game this season. It was the third time this season he scored 20+ points and the fifth contest he led the team in scoring.
