Lewis & Clark Pioneers land four in the top 50 at L&C Invitational

ESTACADA, Ore. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers hosted the L&C Invitational at McIver State Park on Saturday afternoon, competing against 13 other schools.

Junior Samantha Bowen led the women's team while Miguel Haro Ruiz led the men. Bowen placed in the top 50, finishing 45th overall with a time of 23:32.1 in the 6km race. She was closely followed by sophomore Genevieve Serna in the 49 spot with a time of 23:35.1. On the men's side, junior Haro Ruiz finished 27th overall, with a time of 25:12.8 and was followed by junior Sean Richardson in the 40 spot with a time of 25:34.1.

The Pioneers will be hosting the Northwest Conference Championships in McIver State Park in two weeks.
