Rhodenbaugh tied for first after round 1

BEND, Ore. -- The Lewis & Clark golf team finished their first round of the Willamette Spring Thaw on Saturday with the women in third place with a total score of 389 and the men in eighth with a 373.

Women

Mady Rhodenbaugh is the top finisher for the women's team after round one. She is currently tied for first place with Maggie Peters from Whitworth both with a score of 82.

Annika Clunk is nine strokes behind first place with a score of 91 and stands at eighth place. Elizabeth Moretti is in 21st place with a score of 106 and her teammate Tori Eichten in is 25th place with a score of 110.

Men

The top golfer for the Pioneers after round one was Jacob Bell. Bell is currently in a four-way tie for 20th place with a score of 81.

David Furman is tied for 32nd place with a score of 87, Kade McCoy is in 42nd place with a 93, and Nick Lombardi is in 46th place with a score of 112.

Round two play will begin Sunday Apr. 15.
