The Pioneer women's basketball season ended Wednesday night with a 76-71 loss at #18 George Fox. After trailing by as many as 15 in the second half, Allison Farr tied the game with a three-pointer to send it to overtime.

The Pioneers women's basketball were named the champions of the Colorado College Thanksgiving Invitational Tournament with their 66-46 victory over the host team, Colorado College, Saturday in Colorado Springs. Crystal Castle posted another double-double and was named tournament MVP.

The Pioneers lost a heart breaker on the home court, falling 54-53 to #10 Menlo in the final game of the Bon Appetit Classic. Allison Farr and Crystal Castle each had 13 points for the Pioneers. In the first game of the evening, Willamette defeated Haverford 77-43.

The Lewis & Clark College Department of PE & Athletics is preparing to welcome in a class of talented first-year student athletes. With more students committing to Pioneer athletics every day, the Pioneers already have 102 recruited student-athletes who have paid deposits to attend the school in the fall. The Northwest Conference announced their Women's Basketball All-Northwest Conference teams with the Pioneers having three players honored. Crystal Castle was named first team All-Northwest Conference. Sarah Moon earned second team honors. Allison Farr was an honorable mention.

Moon Named Academic All-District
Pioneer guard Sarah Moon was named to CoSIDA's ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Eight Second Team. The award recognizes both academic and athletic achievement.
