The Pioneer softball team began fall practice on Monday, hitting the Huston Sports Complex for their first workouts of the 2007-08 school year. First-year Head Coach Juli Fulks ran the workouts with returners and freshmen working out together for the first time.

The team will have 12 days of practice in the fall with workouts wrapping up October 4th. The softball season is slated to begin Saturday, February 9 when the Pioneers will play at Northwest Christian College in Eugene.
