The Pioneer softball team ended the Northwest Conference portion of their season with a pair of losses at Pacific Lutheran Sunday, falling 9-3 and 16-0. Jamie Moon had two hits for the Pioneers.

The Pioneer softball team dropped both games of Saturday's doubleheader at Whitworth, falling 12-4 and 5-4 to the Pirates in Spokane. The Pioneers rallied for four runs in their final at-bat of game two.

Pioneer Head Women's Volleyball Coach Lori Jepsen is the latest addition to the Pioneer softball coaching staff. Jepsen will assist Coach Fulks with the softball team once the volleyball season is over.

Incoming Pioneer Softball Recruits
The Lewis & Clark College Department of PE & Athletics is preparing to welcome in a class of talented first-year student athletes. With more students committing to Pioneer athletics every day, the Pioneers already have 102 recruited student-athletes who have paid deposits to attend the school in the fall.
