Katie Hart (senior, Philadelphia, Pa.) and Allison Sweeney (sophomore, Tempa, Ariz.) were named CRCA Scholar Athletes by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association. Both posted cumulative  GPA's above 3.50 as members of the Pioneers' 2008 varsity crew team.

Students in their second, third, or fourth year of eligibility who row in their institution's NCAA eligible boats for 75% of the spring races and who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher are eligible for the honor. There were 77 NCAA III rowers who earned this honor.
