The Pioneer golf teams wrapped up their fall schedule with the Northwest Conference Fall Classic. The men's team finished seventh (results) with Daniel Sloan the top finisher for the men. The men's team posted a team score of 684, 13 strokes ahead of Whitman and 31 strokes ahead of George Fox but 23 shots behind sixth-place Willamette. (This is a correction of our early report that the team finished eighth. Whitman was erroneously listed as the fifth-place team on the team-rankings list we received. We apologize for this inaccuracy)

Daniel Sloan (junior, Tulsa, Okla.) had the low score for the Pioneers, with an 82-81 for a final score of 163. Scott Hymen (senior, Evanston, Ill.) shot twin 84's for a 168 final score. Ryan Cosgrove (senior, La Canada, Calif.) shot an 83-93 for a 176. Dylan Arrieta-Joy (sophomore, Pasadena, Calif.)  posted an 89-91 for a 180. Nick Peach (senior, Bellingham, Wash.) dropped three stokes on the second day for a 93-90-- 183. Mike Orr (senior, Boulder, Colo.) rounded out the lineup with a 92-95-- 187.

For the women, only Diana Freeburg competed. She shot 99-109--208.
