Ian Falconer has had two separate tenures as a member on the
Lewis & Clark football staff. Ian spent the 2003 season as the
offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator. Ian moved on
in 2004, spending two seasons as the offensive line coach and
assistant head coach at Oberlin College in Ohio. Falconer returned
to L&C in 2006 as the Pioneer offensive line coach. In 2007,
Falconer will be the Offensive Coordinator in addition to
continuing to work with the O-Line.
Ian was a standout offensive lineman during his
undergraduate career at Portland State, earning All-Big Sky honors
as a center in his senior year. As a player, Ian was considered by
both coaches and teammates to be “like having another
quarterback on the field.” With Ian’s leadership in
2000, the PSU offensive line gave up only 12 sacks the entire
season.
Ian is a native of Lake Oswego, Ore. and a
graduate of Lakeridge High School where he had an outstanding prep
career. Falconer received his bachelor’s degree in Social
Science with a minor in Political Science in 2000 from Portland
State University. He resides in Portland with his wife, Angel.
