PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark football team is less than 24 hours away from the start of its 2009 campaign. The Pioneers return to the field after a 1-8 season last year, with a 0-6 record in the Northwest Conference. But that is all in the past. This years team is full of young talent, experienced veterans and enthusiasm. That is the key for the 2009 squad - bringing enthusiasm to each and every game. Sophomore wide receiver Brandis Piper recently sat down to discuss what he expects from the team this season.
