Wennerlind Earns Membership in Hampshire Honor Society
The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced the members of the 2008 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a 3.2 GPA or better, with Pioneer wide receiver Mike Wennerlind (senior, Troutdale, Ore.) one of this year's inductees.
A total of 441 players from 227 schools across all collegiate divisions qualified for membership in the society’s second year, an increase of more than 25 percent from the inaugural class in 2007. The Pioneers had three players, Mike Brooder, Erik Gerwick, and Josh Schoonover, inducted into 2007's inagural class.
