In recognition of their outstanding accomplishments in the classroom and on the playing field, Pioneer seniors Mike Brooder, Erik Gerwick, and Josh Schoonover have been inducted into the inaugural class of the National Football Foundation's National Honor Society.

348 players from 195 schools were chosen to be in the inaugural class. For 60 years, the National Football Foundation has honored the best and brightest that intercollegiate football has to offer. This year, they decided to recognize student-athletes who excel on the field and in the classroom with the creation of the Honor Society.
