Gene Rivera (senior, Kahului, Hawaii) broke the Pioneer career record for blocks when he earned the 77th of his career Friday night against Puget Sound. Rivera set the new standard for blocked shots in a career in just a season and a half of playing for the Pioneers. He also owns the L&C records for most blocks in a single game (6) and most in a single season (51).
