2007 Hall of Fame and Homecoming Photos

The Lewis & Clark Department of Physical Education and Athletics is proud to announce the 2007 inductees into the Lewis & Clark Sports Hall of Fame. Football player Stan Blair, Swimmer Leanne Desilet, Volleyball & Softball player Ena Eakin Rierson, and Diver Don Sempert will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a dinner on Friday night, October 19 in Stamm. The 1965 Men's Track & Field team will also be inducted. Wrestlers Mike Clock and Vern Olsen will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards. Kathy Lindemann and Ken Venables will be honored with Merit Awards. Click here (or on the photo below) to see a photo gallery of the event. Stan Blair was a four-year letter winner in football, with two All-Conference selections as a fullback as well as being named to the UP All-Coast Second Team.  LeAnne Desilet was a three-year letter winner in swimming and a three-time NAIA All-American in the breastroke. Ena Eakin Rierson was a two-sport standout, a four-year letter winner in volleyball and three-year letter winner in softball. She was 1990 All- NCIC Second Team and NCIC Tournament All-Star in volleyball, 1991 NAIA All-District 2 Second Team, All-NCIC First Team, and NCIC Tournament All-Starl. In Softball, she was a 1990 NAIA All-District 2 First Team, All-NCIC First Team, 1991 NAIA All-District 2 First Team, 1992 NAIA All-District 2 First Team . She holds school records in both softball (at-bats and hits) and volleyball (assists). Don Sempert was a member of the first swim team at Lewis & Clark in 1947, leading the team to a second-place finish at the Conference meet; Northwest Conference Diving Champion in 1948 and 1949.  The 1965 Men's Track & Field Team won the Northwest Conference Championship, with five men event champions at the Conference meet. The '65 team had three individual All-American performances at the NAIA National Championships.
