Pioneer Student-Athlete invited to participate in prestigious Philosophy Seminar
Swimmer and Cross Country runner, Zach Yeager will participate in the prestigious Colorado Summer Seminar in Philosophy. According to Becko Copenhaver, Associate Professor of Philosophy, "this program is the only one of its kind - providing a highly intensive intellectual atmosphere for the very best philosophy undergraduates in the nation (and perhaps internationally)." Yeager, a junior Philosophy major was selected from undergraduate students from across the nation and was the only Lewis & Clark student selected to attend this seminar.
Sponsored by the Department of Philosophy at the University of Colorado, Boulder, this Seminar is intended for outstanding undergraduates who are considering graduate school in philosophy. The aim is to introduce students to the atmosphere of a graduate-level seminar, giving participants a chance to explore and sharpen their philosophical abilities before they commit to a graduate program.
