Pioneer Soccer earns academic award for the second time

The 2006-2007 Pioneer Women's Soccer team is once again awarded the NSCAA/adidas Team Academic Award for their stellar performance in the classroom.  This award given by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America recognizes soccer teams that have earned a combined team GPA of a 3.0 or higher.  The 2006-2007 team GPA was a 3.50.

In addition, the 2005-2006 Women's Soccer team also earned this accolade and was recognized as having the highest team GPA among all Division III programs.   This year's award winners were not ranked.

NSCAA Executive Director, Jim Sheldon writes in his letter to the team, "this achievement sets your team apart from other teams, demonstrating your program's commitment to achievement on the field and in the classroom."
