Pete Lahti's interception with 13:04 remaining in the fourth quarter led to a field goal that put Lewis & Clark up by three possessions as the Pioneers snapped a 33-game losing streak with a 40-29 win over Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday. Lahti recorded a team-high six tackles and his interception was the third takeaway. The Pios were +3 in turnover ratio including Lahti's fumble recovery that led to Obed Eriza's field goal that gave the Pios a 17-0 lead. The defense limited 2016 All-SCIAC running back Aseal Birir to 14 carries, which matches his lowest in the last two seasons.
