Miles French was an event winner at last weekend's Logger Invite, winning the 100 Breaststroke on Sunday with a time of 58.66, which set a new Lewis & Clark school record. French's mark surpassed Tyler Moody's 2012-13 time of 58.78. The day before, the senior climbed up to second all-time in the 200 Breaststroke, also moving past Moody, with a time of 2:11.64. The mark was the fastest of French's career and earned him a second-place finish at the event. On the opening day of the Logger Invite, French joined Kyle Monteleone, Andrew Butcher and Matt Jackson to set a new record in the 800 Medley at 1:38.26.
