The end-of-year Student-Athlete Dessert will be held on Tuesday, April 22. The award ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm with dessert to follow in Stamm.

The evening will begin in Council Chambers where the 2007-08 Student-Athlete award winners will be announced. The awards include:

• Pioneer Male and Female Rookies of the Year
• Pioneer Sneior Career Male and Female Awards
• Judy McMullen Female Scholar Athletes
• Dell Smith Male Scholar Athletes
• Joe Huston Male Athlete of the Year
• Lois Smithwick Female Athlete of the Year

There is also one new award (with a male and a female recipient)  that will be announced and presented that evening.

The evening will also feature the presentation of senior awards, letters, and certificates of participation for all of this year's Pioneer athletes as well as a slideshow.

A very exciting announcement about the future of Pioneer Athletics (along with an unveiling) will also be made that evening.

After the awards ceremony, dessert willbe served in Stamm. All attending the dessert portion of the program will receive a special memento from the Athletics Department.
